Eddy Current Array (ECA) is also the latest intuitive eddy current technique used to inspect ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic welds and surfaces. The design of the probe uses multi singular coils arranged into an array probe enabling faster and more precise inspection without missing a spot.
Primary purpose of ECA is to detect and measure cracks on the metal surface. ECA provides significant information on cracks detected including the depth and length. ECA eliminates the need of paint removal or surface preparation and inspection production is multiple times faster than conventional methods. Results from ECA are instantaneous and can produce a report on the spot.
